the great american revolution
Through market research we discovered that Hamilton, an industrial caster and wheel manufacturer, was losing momentum with its distributors.
They felt Hamilton was stealing their business by occasionally selling directly to customers, something the company has done for more than a century.
To help rebuild the relationship, we created "The Great American Revolution" sales incentive program.
Dealers earned points for every casters they sold, and cashed them in for TVs, barbecues, football tickets, airfare and all of their favorites.
Basically, it was bribery. And it worked.
We sent them emails to remind them to register on a landing site, and kept them updated with new ways to earn bonus points, like watching a quick caster flick.
While the campaign is still underway, the emails have more than doubled the industry's average click-through rate. And clocked in 10% higher opens.
