Nathan's Famous: Social

What good is being the world's most famous frank if you don't have a social media presence to brag about it?

We used Facebook, Twitter and Instagram to serve up quippy, tasty content to the hungry masses.

The result is a campaign that generated tons of engagement, freshened up the age-old brand, and had fans old and new running to the grocery store to prep for hot dog night.

We also had the opportunity to post live during The Hot Dog Eating Contest, which is to Nathan's what the Thanksgiving Day Parade is to Macy's.

It was awesome. And, it changed the way I celebrated The Fourth of July. It's to the point where I can't imagine the day without watching America's most impressive display of patriotism, gluttony, athleticism and, frankly, glory.

Truth be told, Nathan's social copy is some of the most fun I've had as a copywriter. The nights before I'm scheduled to write it feel like the night before Christmas.

Like a juicy dog, I just can't wait to dig in and get down to business.
